Assisted entrepreneurs, students and other creative professionals field copyright complaints and ensure regulatory compliance; drafted agreements and privacy policies; provided necessary legal services. Contributed to comments submitted to (and cited by) the Copyright Office’s 1201 Anti-circumvention Exemptions Ruling in 2015.

January 2016 – August 2016; 

Gained valuable experience working towards policy goals and alongside other similarly focused nonprofit organizations. Researched legislation and prepared summaries for supervising attorney. Assisted in updating copyright and privacy policy of the organization.

Tasked with researching weekly discussion topics at the intersect of law and technology, and with handling logistics of scheduling weekly guests. Beginning in January, 2016 , co-hosted CLE-crediting legal podcast, “This Week in Law,” alongside Denise Howell and J. Michael Keyes.
